About Sabrina Lloyd Sabrina Lloyd, State General Agent in Illinois, was planning to become a doctor before she joined American Income Life Insurance Company. Originally from Canada, she came to the United States to assist a family member and planned to attend medical school in New Jersey. "I was looking for a job to support my family and pay for school, and found a career." Sabrina finished her first full year of production in 2006 as the #10 Individual Producer in the Company, and earned her SGA promotion in 2008. Sabrina sees tremendous value in our products. "AIL's products are unique in that we don't need to compete with other companies. Instead, we COMPLETE our clients' insurance needs and provide them with benefits that are unique to our Company. We excel in filling in gaps in our members' coverage to give them better protection." What is Sabrina's advice to others thinking about joining the American Income Life team? "Patience and persistence is required to excel, because you have to keep the long-term picture in mind. You need to have faith and enough knowledge to trust those who have excelled at AIL. Listen and do what successful people have done." What has been most rewarding for Sabrina at AIL? "The people who excel at this opportunity are incredible, and I have been blessed to know some amazing people. One of the most rewarding responsibilities is recruiting others who can build something great for their future. Not many companies provide an opportunity to build a career and provide a means to retire. AIL's renewal opportunities allow us to build something great." American Income Life was definitely the right choice for Sabrina. "Every day I wake up and tell myself I am where I am supposed to be. I trust my life is guided by a power greater than myself, so I do my best to make the most of everything I'm given. When you are grateful for what you have, you feel good about where you are and stop thinking about what you're missing. I have a philosophy that nothing is owed to me, but much is expected of me. AIL reinforces my philosophies. I wouldn't change anything that has happened to me. When you take your career seriously, you not only gain financial prosperity, but your life improves because of what you have to become to be successful." Spending time with her husband is very important to Sabrina. "He's such a huge support to me and has taught me so much through the years. He teaches me to live my life to the fullest, and, as a result, I have done many things with him that I probably would never have done on my own. We ride motorcycles together; we travel to great places together; we play sports together. I'm pretty conservative, and he helps me to be adventurous and live life more lightly." Sabrina is a very giving person. She donates generously to St. Jude's Hospital. "Their cause is a very noble one, and I love supporting what they stand for. Living in the United States, we are blessed with so many great things, it's easy to take for granted the simplest things that mean so much to others." She built a well that provides clean drinking water for a village in Africa. She also has mentored children in impoverished countries to provide them with supplies and the ability to live better lives.
