In its past life, Tuman's was known as Tuman's Tavern (aka The Alcohol Abuse Center), a Ukrainian Village dive bar with an eccentric décor and an eclectic clientele. The tavern received a much-needed facelift and was rechristened Tuman's Tap & Grill in 2012. The sunny corner storefront now boasts booth and high-top seating with subtle nods to the tap's dive-bar roots, from the original stained glass and wood on the back bar to the Alcohol Abuse Center signage as wall art. The seasonally rotating menu features signature selections such as Prince Edward Island mussels with Allagash White Ale and shallots, and custom-ground Slagel Family Farm burgers, including the gorgonzola burger with shallot port reduction and caramelized onions. The full-service bar features handcrafted cocktails, a well-chosen wine list, and 28 ever-changing draft lines with a focus on highly-rated local craft beers. Indoor and heated tent seating. No reservations; seating is first come, first served.
