Will County Court House is a part of the government of Will County in Illinois. It operates a criminal division that has jurisdiction over various offenses that are punishable by imprisonment in a penitentiary. The courthouse maintains a civil division that hears cases related to personal injury, eviction, monetary and property damages, and attachment and garnishment actions. Will County Court House s traffic division is responsible for the maintenance of records and collection of fines for cases that involve moving violations. It operates an automated victim notification system that helps the victims of crime to search for information regarding their offenders custody status through telephone and the Internet. In addition, Will County Court House offers legal services on matters related to domestic violence, lost child support and abandoned property claims.
