For over 40 years, Prairie Cardiovascular has cared for more patients than any other heart and vascular program in Illinois. Prairie currently has 62 board-certified physicians and 45 advanced practice clinicians in 39 clinic sites across Illinois.

I'm very extraverted and like to engage and work with people. I knew I couldn't have a job where I was alone and not having contact with others, so when I was trying to decide what I wanted to do the health care field was at the top of my list because I love working with people.

Physicians at SSM Health Medical Group, located in suite 500 of the 1035 building at St. Mary’s Hospital, provide rheumatology services, minor outpatient procedures as well as office consultations for surgery. We commonly consult with patients interested in colon and rectal surgery, reconstructive breast surgery and thoracic surgery.
