Selfhelp Home, founded in 1950 and located in Chicago, is a nonprofit organization that offers a variety of social and welfare services to senior citizens throughout the state of Illinois. It has studio and one bedroom residential apartments for independent and assisted living, and intermediate and skilled nursing care. It provides various services, such as psychiatric care, diet and nutrition planning, and physical, occupational, speech and rehabilitation therapies. The organization offers other services, including individual and group psychotherapy, family health education and rehabilitation counseling. It provides support services, such as referrals, and traumatic injury and respite care. The center offers 24-hour medical services, and also offers emergency rehabilitation and educational advocacy programs.

This facility so far excelled the 3 others I was in. The food was superb, the staff and patients were very supportive and respectful. I really had fun there. Can't recommend it enough
