Our passion for tea began in 1978 when we opened our first small teashop. The idea was simple: to share the very best teas with a small, select circle of connoisseurs. From those humble beginnings, our company blossomed into what it is today - a global leader in tea retail. We are an organization with hard-earned knowledge of, and experience in, the tea market, with a mission to bring truly superlative teas to a growing community of tea lovers around the world. We have a passion for excellent teas. We see ourselves as tea ambassadors, scouring tea gardens across the globe in search of true excellence. We do more than pay lip-service to the ethical and practical issues that surround tea production. We cultivate relationships with the tea growers and share their daily challenges.
