Stick Rudder Flying Club, established in 1948, is one of the oldest flying clubs in the United States, celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2023. Located at Waukegan Airport (KUGN), the club offers affordable flight training and aircraft rentals while maintaining a commitment to keeping membership dues and instructor fees reasonable.
With a diverse fleet of Cessnas and state-of-the-art training equipment, Stick Rudder provides an environment conducive to learning and camaraderie among pilots. If you want to learn to fly, this is the best place to go. Not only are the instuctors good, but it is the most reasonably priced flying school in the area.
