Steak 'n Shake, a classic American brand, was founded in 1934 in Normal, Illinois by Gus Belt who pioneered the concept of premium burgers and milkshakes.

food took forever, and when it came out, not all the food was there. The milkshakes also weren't even in milkshake consistency, it was basically ice cream in a cup.
