HistoryDrink came about when the round-a-bout was built at the corner of North Main and Auburn. The old North Main Tavern was a casualty and had to be relocated. Steve Grace and Alex Romero partnered up and built a new bar, Drink, that is modern, but also houses the original bar from the North Main. The bar was built by Brunswick in 1928, and is an amazing piece of American craftsmanship. We are proud to have been able to preserve a piece of Rockford's history while moving into the future with a modern bar & grill, that gives a nod to the past.SpecialtiesDrink in Rockford, IL is a locally owned neighborhood bar & grill, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
