St. Walter Catholic Church

St. Walter School is a faith-based educational institution that provides academic services to more than 700 students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. It offers classes in reading, writing, physical education, religion, Spanish, music, math, science, English, social studies, art, computer applications, and language and fine arts. The school provides before- and after-school care programs to assist students with homework and outdoor activities. It also offers a variety of athletic activities, such as volleyball, basketball and cheerleading. The school maintains a student council that conducts several community services and charity events. It organizes prayers, field trips, religious classes and sacramental preparation. The school is accredited by the Illinois State Board of Education and Catholic Schools Office of the Diocese of Joliet. St. Walter School is located in Roselle, Ill.
