St. Ignatius College Prep

Located in Chicago, Saint Ignatius College Prep is a Jesuit Catholic, college preparatory school that was founded in 1869. The school serves more than 1,300 students in grades nine through 12 and offers a wide variety of academic and extracurricular programs. Its academic curriculum includes English, fine arts, industrial technology, foreign languages, mathematics, religious studies, science, social studies, and physical and health education. The school provides a variety of athletic activities, including cross country, football, golf, soccer, swimming and diving, tennis, volleyball, basketball, bowling, cheerleading, hockey, wrestling, baseball, lacrosse, rugby, softball, water polo, and track and field. It also offers various extracurricular programs, such as book, interact, photography, ethnic, French, recycling and chess clubs, the National Honor Society, choir, peer tutoring and the French Honor Society.
