Mel Dane, LCPC, is a dedicated counselor at SSM Health Behavioral Health located in Centralia, IL. The SSM Health Wound Center specializes in treating acute and chronic hard-to-heal wounds and has two hyperbaric oxygen chambers. Many conditions can prevent a wound from healing, such as diabetes, vascular problems, medications, infections, and poor nutrition.
