The Springfield African American Historical Museum (AAHM) is dedicated to sharing authentic stories about African American life in Springfield and Central Illinois through various exhibitions, educational resources, and programs that celebrate and preserve African American history and culture. Currently undergoing an expansion to enhance exhibit spaces, AAHM remains committed to providing relevant programming to the community during construction.
