Established in 1937, the Division of Specialized Care for Children provides care coordination for families and children with special health care needs. It serves more than 20,000 families in over 100 counties in Illinois. The division operates more than 10 regional offices and employs a network of professionals. The Division of Specialized Care for Children focuses in the areas of public service, education and research.
