Southwest Elementary School

Millikin Elementary School is a part of the Geneseo Public School District, which offers educational classes to students in kindergarten through grade 12. The school district operates several elementary, middle and high schools. Each institution of the district has a library that stocks books, periodicals and magazines and also provides access to several educational and recreational Web sites. Millikin Elementary School teaches numerous subjects that include language arts, reading and science. The elementary school also provides lessons in basic number skills. Northside Elementary serves students in kindergarten through grade five . It imparts reading skills to elementary-grade students through phonics instruction. It operates fine arts, computer applications, and health and physical education departments. Northside Elementary has a staff that includes a psychologist, speech pathologist, and physical and occupational therapists.
