History

Mr. Carter inherited teh newspaper in 1993 from residents of Chicago Housing authority known as Taylor Residents United Towards Harmony - TRUTH in which the paper was first named. The bi-weekly publication, under the puublishing of Mr. Carter included teh busienss development and marketing strategies that went beyond public housing to city wide isssues. Mr. Carter newspaper background includes work with the Chicago Defender but his roots are based on community organizing that when asked how he views his contribution and productivity to the community, he modestly replied through a famous quote of Mr. Frederick Douglas.
