Sound Investment was co-founded in 1998 by Dan Agne and Dean McNaughton as a privately held consulting and systems design firm in Chicago, Illinois. The company enjoyed immediate success due to its unsurpassed dedication to its client's needs and expectations as well as its meticulous approach to project management. In just three short years, Sound Investment grew from a small local firm to a national force in the industry winning numerous accolades and awards for their unsurpassed work. Looking for ways to expand their growing business and recognizing an increasing demand in the entertainment and events industry for high quality production services the co-founders decided to create a second company under Sound Investment banner. In 2000, the co-founders partnered with Peter Vanek to lay the foundation Sound Investment A/V which was to become a full service production company offering sound, video, lighting, scenic and staging solutions. As most great enterprises do, Sound Investment A/V began with a modest start but quickly grew to be a top tier provider in the industry. Over the years Sound Investment A/V has played a major role in thousands of successful events both nationally and internationally and continues to expand its ever growing range of services. Now in its tenth year of business, Sound Investment has evolved from a small consulting firm to a national corporation with offices in Chicago, Miami, New York, Las Vegas an LA servicing both the permanent installation and production industries.
