Smokey Jo's

History

We started as a bar and kitchen opened by brothers, Jim and Sam Schrementi, on Main St. & Exchange in Crete in the 1950's. Current owner, Vince, would often help his dad, Jim, at the bar after school let out. The restaurant has moved buildings, and is a few blocks south on Main St now, but the feelings of friendship and family are still strong! The family history is deep, as are the roots in the town. When you come to Jo's you are one of the family, and we hope you always feel at home!

We are a small town restaurant where you can enjoy our new outdoor patio or the old family bar. It is our sincere hope to bring you and your family great food, good cheer, and a time you won't soon forget! See you at Jo's!
