This practice was founded by Dr. Henry Luckhardt in 1950. Dr. Henry was joined in practice by his daughter Sharon in 1965. Dr. Henry retired from active practice in 1978. Mr. David Maze worked in the office during college when on breaks and in between semesters of optometry school. After graduation and a one year residency in vision therapy Dr. Maze joined the practice as a partner thereby creating Drs. Luckhardt and Maze Ltd. in 2005.
