Abraham Lincoln Middle School
Founded in 1925, Lincoln Middle School offers a variety of academic programs in language arts, mathematics, science, social studies and computers. It also offers classes in technology education, journalism, Spanish, and health and physical education. The school s library provides a variety of print and electronic resources, such as books, catalogs, magazines and Internet access. Its extracurricular activities include art, band, drama, orchestra and music. Lincoln Middle School also offers the Rockford Hearing Impairment program. The school provides a range of multicultural activities and offers counseling and career programs to students. It has counselors, parent liaisons, staff developers, social workers, psychologists and student success coordinators on its staff. Lincoln Middle School is located in Rockford, Ill., and is a part of the Rockford Public School District.
