About Frank L. Sassetti & Co The Firm was founded by Frank L. Sassetti in 1921. We have been located in Oak Park, a near western suburb of Chicago, since 1964. We have developed specific expertise in serving our clients with their accounting, auditing, tax and consulting needs. It is this expertise and our dedication to developing and retaining relationships with our clients that has allowed us to continue servicing our clients for over eighty years. We are members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants ( AICPA ), the Illinois CPA Society, and AICPA's Center for Public Company Audit Firms. We are listed with the CPAs for the Public Interest. The CPAs for the Public Interest is a nonprofit organization that refers accounting firms who work with nonprofit organizations. Our partners serve as directors on various boards of nonprofit organizations. An important factor in our Firm s success has been our commitment to the highest standards of quality and professionalism. We undergo tri-annual peer reviews by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. This is a program dedicated to ensuring that participating firms have quality control systems in place over their accounting and auditing practices. On each occasion, we have received the highest rating possible. We receive an additional level of review from Public Company Accounting Oversite Board ( PCAOB ). This additional level of peer review that is reserved for less than three percent of the firms in the entire United States.
