Saint Francis Convent

St. Francis Convent, located in Springfield, Ill., operates the Hospital Sisters of St. Francis that offers a range of health care services to the area community. The institution sponsors the Hospital Sisters Health System, a multi-institutional health care system that owns and operates more than 12 hospitals in Illinois and Wisconsin. The hospitals offer a full range of primary care services, including advanced imaging for diagnostic purposes; home care; and physical, cardiac, and pulmonary rehabilitation. The emergency department has physicians on duty 24-hours a day. The hospitals also employ active medical staff that is composed largely of physicians trained in family practice, general surgery and general practice.
