Lawrence County Ambulance Service provides both emergency and non-emergency ambulance services to residents of Lawrence County, Illinois. We provide service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from routine medical transportation to the hospital to long distance transfers. Lawrence County Ambulance Service is a participating provider for Medicare, Illinois Medicaid, and accepts most forms of insurance. Our state licensed paramedics and EMTs pride themselves on not only being knowledgeable in the field, but maintaining a caring and sympathetic relationship with all patients as well

Sugar Creek Ambulance Service is a Basic Life Support Ambulance Service that covers the City of Trenton, Village of Aviston, and rural area of Sugar Creek Township. The service has 2 ambulances that cover approximately 45 square miles and a population of over 5, 000 people. We have a group of about 30 volunteer members. The service runs about 500 calls a year. We cover 911 calls 24/7 and 365 days a year.The service began in 1980 after the funeral homes no longer in the emergency medical transport business. The service has grown over the years. The service original had its base on south main in Trenton and outgrew that facility and moved to its current location on Indiana Street in Trenton. The current building was renovated by the members in 1995 and is still in use today.We are always looking for volunteers, if you are interested please stop by the base, gives us a call, or send us an email.
