Roberts Park Fire Protection

The Roberts Park Fire Protection District provides fire suppression, rescue, hazardous material response and emergency medical services for more than 20,000 residents in Hickory Hills and Justice in Illinois. It also offers water rescue and fire investigation services. The district responds to over 3,000 calls annually. The Roberts Park Fire Protection District maintains a staff of more than 45 firefighters. It operates a fleet of over 10 vehicles that includes engines, pumpers, tower ladders, fire units, staff cars and paramedic ambulances. The district provides the Youthful Firesetters Program to reduce the incidences of fires set by children. Established in 1938, the Roberts Park Fire Protection District conducts public education and training classes. It is involved in response agreements with neighboring fire departments. The district is affiliated with Ingalls Hospital and Advocate Christ Medical Center.
