The racial makeup of the village was 11.07% White, 86.38% African American, 0.16% Native American, 0.19% Asian, 0.05% Pacific Islander, 1.04% from other races, and 1.11% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.43% of the population.
