The Public Works Engineering Division of the City of Champaign s services include working with developers and contractors to insure well-planned and well-constructed subdivisions. The division designs and inspects infrastructure maintenance projects and manages other nonbuilding the Capital Improvement Program projects. The Public Works Engineering Division of the City of Champaign also maintains streetlights and traffic signals and signs. It is owned by the government of the City of Champaign in the state of Illinois.
