Dr. Albert Gilman, IV, completed his general surgery residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria, Peoria, IL, 1999. He completed medical school at Bowman Gray School of Medicine, Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem, N.C., 1993.

Our dedicated surgeons practice in specialties including trauma, general, colorectal and breast surgery and are credentialed to perform procedures at Decatur Memorial Hospital as well as the Memorial Outpatient Surgery Center in Decatur. We work closely with referring providers to determine surgical needs and make a diagnosis. The primary focus from consult to follow-up is the patient’s comfort level with understanding the process.
