RR Donnelley Logistics, a business unit of Chicago-based RR Donnelley, was formed in 1990 to support the distribution of print product to America's homes. Since then, the company has become one of the nation's leading distributors of catalogs, magazines, books, direct mail and packages. In 1994, it acquired RC Services, a company specializing in expedited logistics. Shortly thereafter, Donnelley Logistics expanded its base of operations by servicing customers outside the RR Donnelley print base. In 1999, the company acquired Freight Systems, a privately held print logistics company that is a distributor of mail and newsstand product. The company is a subsidiary of RR Donnelley, one of the world's premier full-service providers of print and related services, such as document-based business process outsourcing. RR Donnelley Logistics has a location in Willowbrook, Ill.
