Priscilla Weston Swimming

History

2002 is the year I started coaching at a local park district here in Illinois. From there I was hired to Curl Burke Swim Club in Virginia where greats like Natalie Coughlin, Amanda Beard and Ed Moses became Olympians. I was originally hired to coach private lessons and was promoted to assistant coach, then co coach then to head coach/stroke and turn coach. From there I opened my own swim school in Falls Church Virginia. Realizing how much having a whole club brought me off deck and made me more of an administrative coach I took a head coach position at Coral Springs Swim Club and was an assistant coach once a week to head Coach Michael Lohberg. Now I coach clinics, Intensives and private lessons in Illinois. I love being able to get to know each swimmer and really hone their skills into their own stroke, coaching small groups allows me to do that.

Specialties

Elite competitive swim training offered ala carte in one on one and small group sessions. You must be on a competitive team and registered with USA Swimming, USA Triathlon or YMCA. 7 Years old and up. Learn to swim is not currently offered. We'll also cover cross training, nutrition adjustments, swimming theory and tips for recovery. A private lane is reserved for you upon booking. We use the entire time allotted in the pool and on deck so be ready to start right on time. Please arrive early, bring your swim kit and water bottle and warm up for 5 minutes before the start of your hour. You need to be on a swim team. You learn here but you practice what you've learned at practice. After your first training session you'll need fins and cap for every training session, an inline snorkel is recommended.
