We are an invested industry and community stakeholder and gladly take up the role of engaged partner in building a sustainable and vibrant future for all. In 2018, as part of Tate & Lyle, we launched a first-of-its-kind sustainability pilot program with partner Truterra - the sustainable solutions business of Land O'Lakes, one of America's largest farmer-owned cooperatives. That first year, the program enrolled an initial 310,000 acres across the Midwest. A year later, with encouraging pilot results in hand, the program was expanded to 1.5 million acres, representing the equivalent amount of corn the company purchases globally each year.
