Peterson Garden Project (PGP) is a Chicago-based community initiative dedicated to recruiting, educating, and inspiring individuals to grow their own food. Established in 2010, the project operates organic Pop-up Victory Gardens run by local communities, providing management and educational resources to promote sustainable gardening practices.

With a commitment to addressing food insecurity, PGP's Grow2Give program enables volunteers to cultivate organic produce for donation to local food pantries, providing fresh food to vulnerable populations. In its first decade, PGP has engaged over 25,000 participants, grown 230,000 pounds of organic produce, and contributed 15,000 pounds to community food programs.
