Peter Baker & Son, a bituminous-paving contractor company, is a producer and supplier of bituminous-paving materials, crushed-aggregate materials and hot-mix asphalt mixtures. The company is experienced with all types of HMA mixtures, including polymer-modified, SMA and superpave. Established in 1915, the company has fully trained and certified technicians available for testing and mix designing. Headquartered in Lake Bluff, Ill., it maintains IDOT-approved QC/QA labs at the Illinois counties of Lake, McHenry, Cook, Dekalb, Kane and Boone. Peter Baker & Son is a member of the Illinois Road Builders Association and the Illinois Asphalt Pavement Association.
