Founded in 1988, Penny Lane Schools provides early childhood education and child care services for children up to the age of 12. The district s schools offer assistance with the development of social, cognitive and physical abilities of infants and toddlers. It conducts classes in Spanish, computer technology, math, science, art and social studies. Penny Lane Schools organizes art activities, imaginative dramatic plays and physical fitness sessions, including gymnastics and martial arts. The district s schools additionally conduct sessions in rhythm instruments, physical education, music and movement. It assists to develop problem solving, decision making and leadership skills. Penny Lane Schools hosts field trips to parks, museums, art centers, zoos and farms. The school district is accredited with the National Association for the Education of Young Children. It operates one of its schools in Oak Lawn, Ill.
