Peerless of America

Peerless of America, founded in 1912, services the automotive, air conditioning and refrigeration industries as a manufacturer of extruded aluminum shapes for heat transfer and as a fabricator of all-aluminum and aluminum and copper heat transfer coils. The company pioneered the use of aluminum tubing in refrigeration equipment in the early 1930 s with the introduction of the first all aluminum fin coils for commercial refrigeration. By the sixties, Peerless introduced all aluminum fin coils for frost-free household refrigerators. The manufacturing and corporate offices are located in Effingham, Ill. In addition to being a major supplier to the automotive, domestic refrigeration and commercial refrigeration markets, Peerless has licensees manufacturing its products in foreign countries as well.
