Park Lawn School and Activity Center is operated by Park Lawn, a nonprofit organization that offers a variety of programs and services for individuals with developmental disabilities. Pillars Community Services merged with the Community Care Options to form Pillars, which is a nonprofit social service organization. Founded in 2006, Pillars offers a range of community-based services to individuals and families facing challenges and crisis. The organization provides various child and adolescent services, including school-based and at-risk programs and specialized mental health consultation. It also undertakes treatments and posthospitalization for the chronically ill and homeless population. The organization serves more than 9,000 individuals and families annually in over 35 communities throughout the United States. It additionally specializes in home-based care management and family development. The organization undertakes evaluation, counseling and therapies for people affected by sexual assault. Pillars maintains a location in Hickory Hills, Ill.
