LaVezzi Precision was founded in 1908 by the late Edward W. LaVezzi. The principle products were component parts for motion picture projection equipment, an industry then in its infancy. While continuing to serve the motion picture industry, LaVezzi now manufactures critical components and assemblies for a variety of industries. The firm was incorporated in the State of Illinois in 1966 as a closed corporation. The corporate name was changed to LaVezzi Precision in June 1983. LaVezzi Precision specializes in the manufacture of complex parts requiring the most precise manufacturing techniques and handling. The company manufactures a stock line of component parts for any type of equipment using perforated materials such as film, computer paper, or stamped terminal and lead frame strips.
