Universal Blanchers focuses its resources on supplying ingredients and services to the peanut industry. It offers peanut processing services, such as blanching, dry roasting, precleaning, peanut butters, extracts and granulation. Thomas Beaty founded Universal Blanchers in 1978. Its first peanut processing plant was opened in Blakely, Ga. A second facility that serves the Southwest United States market was opened in Dublin, Texas, in 1990. Since that time, the business has grown to include five peanut processing plants with key facilities in every major United States peanut growing region. Universal Blanchers corporate office is located in Peachtree City, Ga.
