The Oak Park Public Library, established in 1902, serves more than 50,000 residents in Oak Park, Ill. Its departments include administration, children s services, circulation, collection, information technology, maintenance, technical services and young adults. The Oak Park Public Library stocks books under various genres, such as mystery, African-American, romance, science fiction and fantasy. The public library also features a number of magazines for teenagers, including Bust, Cicada, Electronic Gaming Monthly, Fantasy and Science Fiction, Mad, Nintendo Power, Rolling Stone, Seventeen, Spin, Teen People and Teen Vogue.
