North American Islamic Trust
The North American Islamic Trust (NAIT) is a Waqf organization established in 1973, dedicated to preserving and maintaining Islamic centers and schools across more than forty states in the U.S. Founded by the Muslim Students Association (MSA), NAIT holds titles to real estate assets primarily for religious worship and community benefit.
In addition to its Waqf role, NAIT pools financial resources through its Islamic Centers Cooperative Fund and offers Shari'ah-compliant financial products via a wholly-owned subsidiary. NAIT also publishes credible Islamic literature through its American Trust Publications, ensuring the availability of valuable resources for the American Muslim community.
