New Horizon Center

New Horizon Center is a nonprofit organization that provides support programs to children and adults with physical disabilities. Its physical therapy department provides various programs, such as swimming classes, wheelchair clinic, feeding program and orthotics clinic. The center also provides training in drinking and swallowing skills. Its adult programs include activities, such as meals preparation, grocery shopping, community integration, motor development and augmentative communication. The center also provides training in daily living skills, such as washing, folding and ironing. New Horizon Center is accredited by the Illinois State Board of Education. It was started in 1967, and is located in Chicago.
