Mt Zion Grade School

Gregory Elementary School offers a variety of academic options to students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. The school has an enrollment of more than 230 students. Its curriculum includes English, language arts, science, reading, math, social studies, physical education, art and music. Gregory Elementary School administers the Title I program, as well as serves students with learning disabilities. The school conducts family fun nights, parent workshops and field trips. Riddle Elementary School serves the educational needs of students in grades kindergarten through five. The school has an enrollment of more than 600 students and is a part of the Mattoon Community Union School District 2. It offers a variety of special education classes for talented and gifted students. The school teaches various subjects, including mathematics, social studies, science and technology, computer science, health education, English, arts and crafts, music and physical education. Its library has a wide collection of fiction and nonfiction books, subject books, magazines and reference material for teachers. It also organizes parent technology workshops in partnership with the Title One Families First programs. Riddle Elementary School is located in Mattoon, Ill.

Blue Ridge High School serves more than 270 students in grades 9 through 12. It offers classes in math, social studies, industrial arts, Spanish, physical education, computer applications, English and science. Blue Ridge High School operates a library and media center that offers a collection of print and electronic resources. In addition, the school has a cafeteria that serves breakfast and lunch. Blue Ridge High School offers a variety of sports activities, such as baseball, golf, volleyball, basketball, softball, football, and track and filed. It has a counselor who offers information on scholarship opportunities, graduation requirements and career planning. Located in Farmer City, Ill., the school is governed by Blue Ridge CUSD 18.
