Founded on the mission of Franciscan Sisters of Chicago to provide compassionate care to each individual, Mother Theresa Home has established itself as a top provider of quality nursing care in the southwest suburban area of Chicago. The distinguished history of Mother Theresa Home began in 1964 when the Franciscan Sisters of Chicago converted their vacant convent into a home devoted to serving the individual nursing needs of 57 residents. In 1990, Mother Theresa Home became an integral part of the Franciscan Village campus, a 33-acre continuing care retirement community that provides a full spectrum of living options, in which residents of the Village receive priority admittance for nursing care. Following in the 100-year tradition of the Franciscan Sisters of Chicago, Mother Theresa Home maintains its commitment to provide loving care through quality of service. It is in Lemont, Ill.
