HistoryNSAL remains dedicated to its mission of 'enriching the human spirit through art education and exhibitions'. Founded in 1924 by artists who wanted people of all ages in their community to benefit from the arts, the cultural impact of the League continues throughout the North Shore and beyond. The second floor of the historic Winnetka Community House is home to the majority of the League's programming. Classes take place in a studio with a skylight taking advantage of the North Light, built for us in 1932, and in the fully-equipped print room.
