Three years before retiring from 35 years of service with the State of Illinois I returned to College to receive my degree in Hospitality Management/Culinary Arts. My love of cooking and baking brought me to open a small bakery as a Mom Pop operation.SpecialtiesNear the Hearth Bakery is a bakery retail establishment featuring Artisan Breads, Cinnamon Rolls, Flavored Coffee, Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar. We are located in the area of downtown Canton. We offer a broad range of coffee, espresso and tea products, all from high quality Columbia grown imported coffee beans. The Bakery provides freshly prepared bakery and pastry products at all times during business operations. Six to eight batches of bakery and pastry products will be prepared daily. Catering services are also offered. We have a small menu of Soup, Salad and Sandwiches offered during the lunch hour of 11am-2pm.
