The Midwest College of Oriental Medicine is one of the oldest acupuncture schools in the United States and is a founding member of the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Based in Chicago, Ill., it is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. The institution offers a range of part-time, full-time and clinical programs in disciplines, including acupuncture, oriental medicine and nutrition. The college is approved to grant the first combined Bachelor of Science in Nutrition with the Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine. The college is the American Affiliate of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
