Located in Elgin, Ill., Maplewood Care is a 200-bed nursing facility that offers health care and rehabilitation services. It is a two-storey building and consists of a dementia unit. The facility is licensed by the state of Illinois and is approved and certified for Medicare and Medicaid pending insurance plans. Its services include therapies, restorative care, nutritional programs, wound care, isolation rooms, hospice and respiratory, tracheostomy and oxygen care. The facility also organizes activities, such as book fairs, bingo, cards, puzzles, music, theme dinners and trips and outings to cultural institutions. Maplewood Care is a part of the S.I.R. Management, a health care consulting company that manages the operation of several nursing facilities.
