Family Shelter Service of Metropolitan Family Services DuPage transforms lives by offering help and hope to those affected by domestic violence.Since 1976, Family Shelter Service has answered the call in our community to help victims of domestic violence escape abuse and rebuild their lives. We work to eliminate barriers, provide faster, greater and more equal access to services in an environment where survivors can feel supported and empowered to disentangle from their situation. Cynthia Koskiewicz, LCPC CADC, is a dedicated Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor based in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, specializing in mental health care for busy women and their families. With a Master's degree in Clinical Professional Psychology from Roosevelt University, she brings over a decade of experience in various therapeutic settings, focusing on improving relationships, reducing stress, and fostering inner peace.
