Founded in 1936, McHenry Public Library is located in McHenry, Ill. The library offers a collection of more than 10,000 books, databases, magazines and reference materials. It provides books on a variety of topics, such as history, literature, science and mystery. It houses a range of CDs, cassettes, movies and videos. The library also maintains a collection of books in Spanish language. It serves as a cultural center for students and adults. It organizes a variety of programs, such as film festivals, reading activities, and book discussions and reviews. In addition, the library offers a range of services that includes Internet access, newsletters and interlibrary loans. McHenry Public Library is a member of North Suburban Library System.
