Mater Dei Catholic High Schl

Mater Dei Catholic High School, established in 1954, is a Catholic secondary school offering education to students in grades nine through 12. Its curriculum offers Bible studies, and various other subjects, including reading, English, mathematics, social studies, science, foreign languages, computer applications and physical education. The school also provides daily class work to students on Bible, arithmetic, and cursive writing. It offers a variety of extracurricular activities, such as student council, school newspaper, yearbook, National Honors Society, performing arts, chorus, band, book and science clubs, and vocal and instrumental music. The sports activities offered by the school include cross-country, golf, soccer, football, basketball, track, baseball, weight lifting and cheerleading. Mater Dei Catholic High School is accredited by the North Central Association of Secondary Schools, and is located in Breese, Ill.
