History
Mark has been training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since 1997. He had his first school in LA Boxing Naperville and while the BJJ school thrived the LA Boxing franchise closed due to management issues. From there Mark's students followed him to Overtime Wrestling in Naperville. After a couple years there Mark decided to open his own school in 2011. In 2012 Mark received his black belt from his mentor Demian Maia (yes that Demian Maia). Mark is the first and only non Brazilian Demian has given the black belt to. The new and current school is located in heart of downtown Naperville, IL.

We are a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school owned and operated by Mark Turner. Mark is the first and only non-Brazilian Black Belt of 5 time World Champion and current UFC welterweight star Demian Maia. We welcome people from all walks of life regardless of age, gender, or experience. We have a great, fun environment for learning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I've never been to this specific location but I have worked along side Mark previously and he helped train me for an MMA match I had. He's top notch in BJJ, if you're looking for self defense, BJJ...
